Role Overview:
The Assistant Product Manager will work closely with the Product Management team to provide support for all aspects of managing Bunge Oils' product portfolio and product lifecycle including overall product line profitability, new product development, industry driven requirements, and SKU rationalization. This role will report to the Director Product Line Management and also work with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Financial Planning and other departments to assist with matching market trends and customer requirements to current product offerings or identifying gaps in the product portfolio. The compensation range for this position is $71,920 - $79,470. In addition to the regular compensation, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
Main Accountabilities:
- Provide day-to-day analytical support for the Product Managers in the areas of new product requirements, competitive market pricing, profitability, costing, return on investment, and strategic alliances.
- Develop/maintain reports to facilitate business processes for new product development, commercialization, and rationalization.
- Align the product portfolio with customer opportunities in Salesforce.com to provide guidance to be driven down through the sales teams.
- Support Product Management with reporting requirements associated for monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) meetings and communications.
- Assist in the development of business plans to support long term capital project requests.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, SAP, SAP/BW
- Experience with Salesforce.com is recommended
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels of the organization
- Strong communication skills: verbal, written and presentation
- Strong multi-tasking and troubleshooting skills.
- Team player
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or a relatable field required
- 0-2 years of related experience
