 Range of Responsibilities

The Data Analytics Auditor will contribute to Global Internal Audit’s (GIA) continued enhancement of data analytics, data mining, and continuous auditing strategies to support the function. The Data Analytics Auditor will be exposed to risk-based projects in several business areas and will be working with project teams and Internal Audit Centers of Excellence (CoE) to:

  • Execute audit analytics during all relevant stages of the audit
  • Provide support to GIA Analytics functional activities
  • Participate in the ongoing development/transition towards data automation for GIA projects
  • Assist CoE teams in identifying, developing and documenting new relevant data analysis for the subject
  • Work closely with regional analytics lead on key initiatives

 

Essential Job Duties

  • Perform data analytics to support regional audits and global analytics priorities
  • Ability to work and communicate across multiple projects at the same time
  • Assist project teams in obtaining necessary data for audits and perform data mining and analysis to facilitate the identification and communication of outliers and trends to the business areas
  • Provide support in audits by identifying, developing, documenting, and executing audit analytics during all relevant stages of an audit project
  • Develop and leverage subject matter expertise in: the knowledge of Bunge's data environment and systems; ability to access and analyze data; use of analytical tools; and ability to interpret, visualize and communicate results
  • Assist in department initiatives to review and improve processes, tools and methodologies related to the use of Data Analytics
  • Lead the development of trainings related to data analytics tools and methodology
  • Provide additional support on GIA initiatives, when necessary
  • Critically think on how to enhance GIA with use of tools, data, other technologies, etc. 

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Management Information Systems, or related areas.
  • Experience in Agribusiness within an audit/consulting environment and/or performing operational analysis is desirable
  • Advanced skills in MS-SQL, Oracle, Python, Tableau, Excel, Access, PLSQL, Microsoft Office suite, etc.
  • Experience in specialty areas, such as Audit Analytics, SAP, Oracle, Business Intelligence, (e.g., RPA (Robotics Process Automation), etc.)
  • English verbal and written skills. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate with project teams on a regular basis and produce DA related materials in English. Other foreign languages are a plus
  • Ability to work in an ever-growing global environment with multicultural and multidisciplinary requirements


    Must also have the following demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Considerable skill in planning and project management, and in maintaining composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines across several projects
  • Considerable skill in using Microsoft Office products (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with co-workers, staff and external contacts, and to work effectively in a professional team environment
  • Ability to work in an ever-growing global environment with domestic and international travel requirements 
  • Skills in conducting international business including any advanced or multiple language abilities
