Overview

 


As a GRC Sr Analyst – Policy Governance, you will be a key player in developing, implementing, and maintaining organizational governance frameworks and policies. You'll ensure compliance with internal regulations and external requirements, mitigate risks, and facilitate informed decision-making. This role requires a deep understanding of policy development, compliance monitoring, risk assessment, and stakeholder management. You will be a crucial part of ensuring the organization operates ethically, efficiently, and in accordance with best practices.

 

 

Essential Functions 

 

  • Develop, implement, and maintain organizational governance frameworks and policies.
  • Develop metrics based on policies and standards.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of existing policies to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Oversee policy development, monitor compliance, and maintain governance structures.
  • Facilitate decision-making processes related to governance and policy.
  • Conduct risk assessments for policy development and document mitigation strategies.
  • Provide guidance to project managers and teams on compliance matters.
  • Manage and distribute internal regulations such as policies, standards and work procedures.
  • Assist staff with locating and interpreting organizational policies and procedures.
  • Support the governance process and policy development.
  • Communicate with the leadership team.
  • Identify and deliver opportunities for policy alignment, coordination, and collaboration.
  • Engage with the policy environment and persuade policymakers on the importance of various considerations.
  • Lead input to major policy and strategic projects from design to implementation.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of work-related administrative experience.
  • Experience in policy development, implementation, and compliance monitoring.
  • Knowledge of governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with online governance systems is a plus.
  • English fluent or in advanced level.
